I dug this grub up and I think its called a white grub, larva of a beetle I believe. Any further info about it would be appreciated, thank you.

Scarab
White grubs are the larvae of june bugs and related scarab beetles; they feed mostly on roots. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable can tell you more specifically what this one is.
