Possible new genus and species for BG!
I don't think this is necessarily a nymph. Based on Slater & Baranowski, I think this is an adult of Acanthophysa echinata Uhler. The only other species is A. idaho which occurs in the Pacific Northwest. Spring Valley is probably too far south for that species.
