these under turbinata before? I just moved them here (back?) unless you disagree.
Actually, there are five species in the US not including Hawaii, so..
do you know which are in NC?

They were. I got worried that I had placed them there without confirmation, so moved them up to the genus level. Thanks for the help.

 
I figured
that is what you did, which made me think twice, too. Need to find out which species are in your area, although they look like turbinata to me.

 
Cyclosa in NC
According to this site. The choice is Cyclosa turbinata. I don't know how accurate that list is, though.
