Size: 3/4 inch
I think this is a Golden Buprestid. We have large fir trees in the garden and all around us. First time I've seen one. Confirmation would be appreciated. Thanks.

This is one of the least common of buprestids, Trachykele blondeli! Nice find! Great image, too.
