Immature.
I'm wondering if this might be an immature female. In any event, it does not have the swollen palps of an adult male. Fairly certain it would have to be L. hesperus.

Eventually...I may be able to remember the adult male spiders have "Boxing gloves" on the front end!! I knew there is an issue of distinguishinging the juviniles apart!!
