I checked the UNH website, and they only have one species of Habrocerus listed, H. capillaricornis.

Habrocerus -cool!
I'm pretty sure this is Habrocerus (Habrocerinae). I wish I could find one of these in the field. Maybe this summer...

Go for the litter
Do you have access to a Berlese funnel? I picked up around a dozen specimens the last couple of years by running forest litter thru a Berlese. Last year I got several from flood debris hung up on a fallen tree on the bank of a sandy creek. See here for habitat type.

 
I should be doing many Berles
I should be doing many Berlese's this summer, I'll make sure to grab a diversity of riparian litter. Thanks for the suggestion!
