Robber Fly - Laphria macquarti

Robber Fly - Laphria macquarti
Mandalay National Wildlife Refuge, Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana, USA
March 10, 2008
Size: approximately 1"
I've tentatively identified this robber fly as Laphria sp. I separated it from Mallophora based on the antennae. Can anyone confirm this id or get it to species?

Sorry for the image quality -- it's the first time I saw a bee mimic robber fly and took the photo despite being about 6' away from the fly (which was in a tree growing in the water and on a branch a bit higher than my head).

Thanks,
Donna
