Moved from Formica.

OOPS! False Honey Ant (Prenolepis imparis) - worker
Formica subsericea, like all member of the fusca-group, has a silky, rather than shiny, head and body. The typical "hour-glass" consriction in the middle of the alitrunk, the hallmark for Prenolepis, is clearly visible too.
