Yes, it does.
That species is listed for NH. However, I don't see the tan area on the underside that Will Chatfield-Taylor mentions on his specimen. It does have the tan spot on the rear of the pronotum though.

The large size of this beetle didn't make me think of a carpet beetle. I'll take an underside shot and post it with these. Maybe this can be identified to a species. It looks a lot like D. frischi to me.

Dermestes
At first I was puzzled by the tight antennal club but I then figured the antennae were pointed somewhat upward, making the clubs appear more compact than they are. The underside probably has less hair missing.
