I was wondering why it was so easy! I have SOOOO much work to do in the land of keying things with American Beetles. Why isn't this one a Dynastine? This is the reason I post things before I put the labels on permanently!

I'm fairly sure this is Anomala undulata. Maybe Philip will weigh in on this one. (I wouldn't frass these.)

If I remember correctly, the difference is in the claws. In the Rutelinae, the claws (middle/hind?) are slightly unequal and independently moveable. Not the case in Dynastinae.

I think you may have the wrong subfamily. This should be Rutelinae, genus Anomala.
