BG1541 D2505 - Hoplodictya
Baton Rouge, Brookhollow Drive, East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana, USA
February 13, 2008
Size: body length 5.5 mm.
We believe this is a Marsh Fly (Sciomyzidae). Several were found on wood fence, always facing downward. Easily walked sidewise and backward.
Proper placement would be appreciated.
