Schistocerca obscura - probably
Based on coloration (greenish with brown tegmina = front wings; near black hind tibia; black spots on hind legs and abdomen), it would seem to be this species.
S. alutacea
is similar.

Adult bird grasshopper.
This is a really nice image of an adult bird grasshopper in the genus Schistocerca. Wide individual variation in color and pattern makes species ID extremely problematic. One needs to examine the male genitalia to achieve species ID in many cases.
