Size: about 9 mm
I found quite a few of these on the undersides of logs at my niece's place. I'll have to grab one from the rearing container and try for some better shots.

hmm
Think I know what these are, but could use a shot ventral shot of the apex of the elytra (to see if epipleura ends before elytral tip) Also could you send me some of these guy in alcohol?

Hi Kojun,
It looks like I'm down to one whole specimen of this species barring juveniles, if any. I've drowned it in booze, will photograph it, and will send it along in a vial together with one more Elea*tes adult. I guess they were among the first to die and be eaten. BTW, the specimen in hand is more like 9 mm and perhaps they all were. I didn't have any shots of them parallel to my rule.

Opatroides
These are Opatroides punctulatus, an introduced species. Will has also collected specimens near his place. Do you have more specific locality information regarding these specimens?

I've added the ventral view you sought,
now that you apparently don't need it :-)

I think Will and I both collected this species in Fair Oaks, Calif. in addition to my prior finds in Cool, Calif. A more specific locality for my Cool find would be under logs a few hundred feet off Indian Rock Road. I can get it more specific than that if needed.
