Ants - Tapinoma sessile

Size: 4-5mm
Found under piece of bark from dead tree. Ants scattered very quickly when found. Saw many carrying larvae, but no queen.

Tapinoma sessile - workers
The two more brownish individuals at left have not yet acquired their definitve, almost black, color.
