Santa Catalina Mountains; Catalina Hwy, Pima County, Arizona, USA

Size: 1.7mm
Collected under bark of fallen coniferous tree. Marshall Gulch, 7550 ft.

Thanks for the kind words, Eric.

Histerids for the most part may not be very flashy, but they do have some interesting surface sculpturing. I feel very fortunate to have access to equipment that can bring this out.

Hopefully eventually I'll get species names on some of these AZ beasts.
