I now think this might be a Two-Striped Walking Stick. Am I right?

Correct
Mated pair of the two-striped walking stick, Anisomorpha buprestoides (Stoll, 1813). The male is the smaller of the two.

Thanks for the compliment : ) I am beginning to realize that "bugs" are a little less cooperative than the other subjects I photograph(although I am finding them to be much more fascinating)
