I've been working through my backyard Nits and this one has me puzzled. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks Boris, I think you got it! Give me a day or so to get it under a scope and confirm it keys to E.peltoides. The dorsal color pattern is a great match. I was initially confused, as Jim's beetle seems to have a least one big sterna expossed behind the elytra, yet mine seems completely covered. Perhaps mine just shrank in drying, but this might have also thrown off my attempts at keying.
