Bugs - Ectopsocus briggsi

Bugs - Ectopsocus briggsi
Norfolk, Virginia, USA
April 6, 2008
Size: ~2mm
Another image of a couple of bugs which look like Family Ectopsocidae. I have recently put another image in the ID request...http://bugguide.net/node/view/174868...which looks very similar, but has different coloring.

Probably Ectopsocus briggsi (males)
Ed Mockford det.
Moved from Ectopsocus.

Moved
Moved from Ectopsocus briggsi.

They do not look like E. brig
They do not look like E. briggsi, more like E.petersi but they could belong to any of the 180 species in this genus. I would stop at Ectopsocus sp.

Moved them..
Just to be safe. Thanks!

Ectopsocus briggsi
Ectopsocus briggsi McLachlan, 1899... I think.

I think you have it right!
Thanks!
