Pero zalissaria

Pero zalissaria
Mathews County, Virginia, USA
July 23, 2006
I thought this moth would be easy to identify but so far I haven't found it. Any information would be appreciated!

Take a look
in the Pero genus. But they seem to be difficult for us to agree on ID to species.

Thank you!
Steve,
I looked at the Pero moths and think it is most like the Straight-lined Pero though there are some slight differences. Thank you so much for your help. - Carol

Good eye
Your ID is correct. This is a Pero zalissaria. A very nice find.

Thank you!
J.D., thank you for the positive I.D.! I moved it to the correct area. Carol
