Identification
Nymph: the earlike processes between the eyes are distinctive. Dark members of the genus Ceratagallia can sometimes be confused for Agallia.
Remarks
This genus is highly polyphyletic and in need of revision. The New World members of this genus have been determined to be unrelated to the Old World type of this genus, Agallia consobrina.
