Nice shot, nice fly. Hope we'll be seeing more. While I'm no expert, I shoot a lot of flies and have noted that some of those that appear to be common - house flies for example - are often hard to ID from photos. That said, good luck on this one!

A tip: Fly permitting, try for a shot of wing veins from above, as such a view can be a major aid in ID.
