A Lovely Beetle - Buprestis rufipes
Colt Creek State Park, Polk County, Florida, USA
April 19, 2008
Size: 27 mm
This beetle flew to the window of my parked vehicle near a small lake and wooded area of live and swamp oaks with some cypress mixed in. It was dazzling bright green in the full sun.
