Thank You!
Thank you so much! This looks exactly like the one I found. It made a cocoon yesterday. Thanks again!

Just wondering...
Has the moth emerged yet? Might be too soon still but I think it would be great if you happened to get a picture of the moth to help confirm the identity.

Caterpillar
No, the moth has not emerged yet. If I read correctly about it, it should take about 2 weeks so hopefully it will happen next weekend (around May 2nd or 3rd). I'll do my best to get a picture when it happens and post it. Thanks!

Do me a favor please...
If you are able to get a picture of the adult moth, please put a comment here (so I will get an email) with a link to the moth picture. I would love to see the moth.

Thanks in advance!

Saltmarsh Moth has emerged
Hey there! Just wanted to let you know that our Saltmarsh Moth emerged today. I got pictures of him as his wings were unfolding (filling, whatever you call it). I'll post one here, but you can also go here to see more http://picasaweb.google.com/lmreid71/SaltmarshCaterpillar.

Congratulations!
It's a boy!

Females would have white underwings.

Nice series and thanks for keeping me informed.

Thank you!
I looked it up after I'd notified you & found that it is a male. It's been very exciting at our house today - we also have 3 Monarch caterpillars - well, 2 + one that formed a chrysalis during the night. I have pictures of the Monarchs posted here also http://picasaweb.google.com/lmreid71.

Nice Pictures...
Link to the moth that later emerged from this caterpillar

Just as an fyi...

If you type [-url]www.whatever.com[/url] *without the dash*, it would create a link to www.whatever.com
