ID Request - Dytiscus fasciventris - female

ID Request - Dytiscus fasciventris - Female
Fredericton, York County, New Brunswick, Canada
October 22, 1987
Size: large
Sorting through my old slides, found this that seems different from others in the Guide. Checked Patrick's discusion re: Dytiscus vs. Cybister but still can't decide where it belongs. Guess it could also be Agabus. ID, even to genus, appreciated.

My guess
would be Dytiscus fasciventris from the color pattern and general morphology.

D. fasciventris
looks good. Found some info and links to comparison images of other Dytiscus species - see Guide page.

Your guess
is good enough for me, thanks.

Nice!
Nice shot of a very attractive water beetle.
