Mason Bee -- Osmia? - Osmia

Mason Bee -- Osmia? - Osmia
Ozark Mountains, Searcy County, Arkansas, USA
April 21, 2008
Size: 10mm
I believe this bee is the same genus as the one I captured and photographed yesterday.

They appeared the same to my untrained eye. They were working in the same area and seemed to be doing the same thing. There are several bees working in this area. The object is an old screwdriver rack that must have 30 or 40 holes in it. Nests have been built in many of the holes in the past. These bees currently seem to be reusing and resealing the old nests. Any additional comments, explanation and correction would be appreciated. Thank you.

Nests
I don't have an ID to offer at the moment, but I'd love to see images of completed nests... I'm working on sorting out how to ID the nests of as many bees and wasps as possible.
