Green beetle - Scelolyperus

This green shiny fellow caught my eye ! Even though they are eating the flowers , these guys are beautiful . This fellow was found on a Wallflower on Mt. Diablo . I did not see very many of this type . I would love to know what kind of beetle this is to further my growing buggie knowledge . Thanks for any input , sincerely Bugsys posy
