leaf hopper and parasite?

leaf hopper and parasite?
Houston, Harris County, Texas, USA
Size: 3/16"
This looked like a tiny slug attached to the underbelly of the leaf hopper. When the hopper hopped several times, the other thing remained firmly attached. I also considered something like an egg case? Firmly attached what ever it is.

Gyponana
A nymphal leafhopper.

Likely the larva of a dryinid
