Process of Elimination
If they are as small as they appear, they cannot be either species of carpenter ant nor can they be a field ant or large yellow ant. Therefore, they have to be either a odorous house ant or small honey ant. Based on the fact that you cannot see a petiole, I would have to assume odorous house ant. This is of course discounting all two-node ants.

Magnification was too small on previous post for a positive ID.
