Iron Cross Beetles Scramble for Last Bit of Edible Green - Tegrodera aloga - Male Female
Hassayampa Box Canyon, Yavapai County, Arizona, USA

Size: 2 to 3 cm.
100's had emerged in the area and were ravenously attacking any succulent herb to be found. They were running and flying about seemingly desparate for any green plant to eat.
