Guessing - Plant Bug nymph
Looks like a Plant Bug nymph. Sorry that's as deep as I can guess. The reason I say nymph is because of the small black wing buds.

Although it could be a nymph Assassin Bug.

Looks like
a nymph of one of the Stainers (Dysdercus), probably Cotton Stainer (Dysdercus suturellus) although dark head makes me wonder about Dysdercus mimulus?

What about a sp. new to BugGuide?
I agree Dysdercus looks like a good match for the genus, but as John says, the black head does not match the few nymphs we have here already (compare below). There are 8 spp. in the US (see guide), so perhaps this is one of the others. The host plant definitely appears to be something in the mallow family, and looks similar enough to Velvetleaf (Abutilon theophrasti) to make me wonder if it's another Abutilon sp.
