Shiny Green Beetle - Euphoria limbalis

Shiny Green Beetle - Euphoria limbalis
Jupiter, Palm Beach County, Florida, USA
May 10, 2008
Thought this might be a green jewel beetle but I can't find any pictures of those with white spots. I found it in my kayak that was filled with water after a storm and plucked him out. He dried out on my finger for a few minutes and flew away.

Moved from Emerald Euphoria.

Looking forward
to more floaters from your kayak ;-)

Pretty!
Nice image of a day-flying flower scarab beetle, Euphoria fulgida. They fly well, with the wing covers closed, looking much more like large bees than the beetles that they are:-)
