Cholla bug - Narnia snowi

Cholla bug - Narnia snowi
Cochise Stronghold US Forest Service Park, Cochise County, Arizona, USA
March 26, 2008
Size: ~12mm
We drove south from Dragoon to Cochise Stronghold to check out the birds and found this leaf-footed bug on a cholla cactus. We were surprised to see how hairy it was. It looks like the bugs we have in the guide under the genus Narnia, so we'll post it there. We don't know how to ID it to species.

Moved
Moved from Narnia.

N. snowi?
I just went through part of the U of Arizona collection. N. snowi is by far the most abundant species in Arizona.

Thanks Eric
we'll move it there. There are lots more posted to the genus page if you want to take a whack at them. But it's Sunday and you're commenting - you're confusing us!!
