It certainly is a wolf spider. You could have posted it there instead of in the spider section, I think that would improve your chances of a future ID by an expert.

Yes,
I do find it a bit annoying, but it helps with the trail of who moved and why. However, when it is moved from ID Request there are no auto comments generated (as of right now...I'm not sure how Bugguide 2.0 will work). I still prefer posting to the highest level I know.
