Carolina Saddlebags - Tramea carolina

Carolina Saddlebags - Tramea carolina
Hilton Head, Beaufort County, South Carolina, USA

Difficult angle for us,
but we were thinking Tramea carolina instead. Looks to have large saddlebags and lots of black on the tip of the abdomen. It will be interesting to see what others think.

I agree,
for the reasons you stated, and also because the saddlebags seem too pink for Red Saddlebags. Color in photos can be misleading, but it looks like a Carolina Saddlebags to me.
