Identification
Variable in color and markings but usually with multiple dark spots of almost uniform size and spacing on the elytra that make it appear to be perforated like a metal colander.
Range
adventive in FL (established), native to S. America & West Indies(1)(2) (in FL north to Orange Co., per M.C. Thomas's 14.v.2008 comment)
Food
associated with Convolvulaceae(3) Often found on vines of genus Ipomoea (morning glories and sweet potatoes).
Remarks
