Possibly Metepeira - Metepeira foxi

Possibly Metepeira - Metepeira foxi
Salt Creek, Inyo County, California, USA
March 28, 2008
Size: 0.5 - 1.0 cm
I'm thinking this is Metepeira. Can anyone confirm or get to species? I found many of these around Salt Creek in Death Valley National Park (CA, USA). They were almost all in orb webs with a lot of detritus around the center. For more info see my Flickr page.

Metepeira
Range should make this gosoga, foxi or arizonica. Of those I think it matches pattern with foxi best. A ventral view would have been nice to be more certain.
