Not sure on the size, but it was a big one. I would guess in the inch range. This spider had made a "tipi" out of leaves...and I got this shot from the bottom opening by lifting it up with a stick. The legs on this spider are very long!

Nursery web spider female.
This is a female nursery web spider, family Pisauridae (also includes the fisher spiders), but I can't tell what genus or species. This is the only time she will spin a web. Otherwise they hunt on foot (tarsi?)
