Camponotus chromaiodes - major worker
This time the image is large enough for an easy identification. Subtle gradation between orange gaster basis and coxae, and deep purple pronotum makes this species especially elegant, besides owing it its name - chroma, chromatos is ancient Greek for "color".
Hence, C. chromaiodes means something like "the colorful Carpenter Ant".
