What Dragonfly? - Epitheca

What Dragonfly? - Epitheca
Montgomery, Orange County, New York, USA
May 16, 2008
Size: 1 1/2 inch body length
A somewhat smallish dragonfly. Anyone know the species?

Moved
Moved from Dragonflies.

I believe.....
this is a Common Baskettail (Epatheca cynosura) but not 100% sure. The Baskettails are one of the earlier species to emerge.

agree
Appendages look like they eliminate any other baskettail (Epitheca).
