Spider found inside house - Dysdera crocata

Spider found inside house - Dysdera crocata

Size: About Dime size.
Any clue what these Arachnids are? The larger one (the picture with the penny) was crawling on my arm while I was on the computer one night. I quickly knocked it off because it startled me. It died about an hour later, so it must have been sick (or I might have accidentally harmed it while knocking it off my arm - although I didn't flick it very hard). I've been finding more of these spiders around the house lately, which is odd - because I've never seen them in the previous years living here. Both these pictures are actually of two different spiders, but I believe them to be the same type. The brighter image of the two was taken with camera flash on, so it may appear a slightly different color. They are both about the same color and appearance normally.
