C. Thoracicus - Chrysopilus thoracicus

Based on other images here in the guide, this looks like C. Thoracicus the Golden-Backed snipe fly. This is the first I've ever seen in my area. Can anyone confirm? A beautiful insect at any rate.

This is the correct ID for this fly, a male GB snipe. Good work.
