Eremoblatta sand roach - Eremoblatta -  Indio Mountains Research Station, Hudspeth County, Texas, USA May 24, 2008
This is the other genus of Polyphagidae found in the American southwest, Eremoblatta. It has a non-segmented cerci, middle and hind femora which lack spines (but are hairy) and front tibia with seven spines (as opposed to 6 in Arenivega)(Helfer, 1987). This genus is fairly common in far west Texas at lights.
