L. planus on the Rocks - Lordotus planus - Male

Size: 7-8 mm
Spot Lordotus by their characteristic way of landing with a plop, like a lunar module that just shut off its thrusters.

Love the behavioral info
and the way you got him to pose so the wing veins show up against the body. Quite the bee fly wrangler, you!
