To the naked eye, my Chrysanthemum plant looks as if its stems are covered with black Aphids. It was another pleasant surprise looking at it on a monitor and seeing mostly dark red or reddish brown Aphids and some green Aphids. I did not see any adult green Aphids on this plant but there were some on nearby Iris plants.
