Caterpillar - Malacosoma disstria

Caterpillar - Malacosoma disstria
Franklin, Tennessee, USA
May 30, 2008
Size: 1.5"
Found on persimmon, looked in Wagner's at all the caterpillars with persimmon listed as a host plant, couldn't find it.

Looks like
Malacosoma disstria (Forest Tent Caterpillar Moth - Hodges#7698)

Thanks
I thought it looked like a tent caterpillar, but am only familar with the eastern tent caterpillar (I reared a bunch of them).
