Size: ~3mm
A large white fungus on a log was covered with these flies.

Drosophila, quinaria group
Looks like both cross-veins in the wings are clouded, and the anterior scutelars divergent. With the interrupted banding and given where you found it, I'd say D. falleni of the quinaria group.
