Size: 9mm Diameter
Found this unknown egg case under a log while searching for beetles. It looks for all the world like a little fried egg. It appears to contain something like 12x1mm orange eggs inside.

It would be great if someone could hatch some of these so we can find out what kind of spiders they are....

I knew they were arthropod eggs, but had no clue what class.

I'll see if they hatch. If they do, I'll throw 'em under the scope and try for a picture. Hopefully someone good at early-instar arachnid identification will chime in then.
