Moved
Moved from Squash Bugs.

I'll take the hit on this one if it turns out to be wrong, but I agree with John that this species looks to be the right match for your images.

Oh, you are so noble. And so right, I'd also say.
I'm on board with all this, so we'll share any blame.

I don't think it an Anasa...
The shape of the head is somewhat different from Anasa.

I'd like to vote for Catorhintha... ^^

Oops! Not Catorhintha, but Althos...
Please refer to Althos obscurator.

Sorry... final suggestion is Ficana apicalis ^^
See #1 of http://www.sil.si.edu/imagegalaxy/imageGalaxy_enlarge.cfm?id_image=5880.

Look at the white points on the wings. ^^

Tough one!
I think the "shoulders" here are differently shaped and broader than Ficana apicalis. Looks good otherwise.

I also think so... ^^
However, I am pretty sure it is not an Anasa... ^^

Please check
Anasa andresii (new for BG) with descriptions on info page and on the image.

Thanks, John. I'd say that's it.
...

Doesn't strike me as being a Reduviid.
It looks more like a Coreid ... so the syrphids won't do well for dinner. I'm not familiar with the family, though.
BTW, I think you double-posted this image.

I agree
Maybe Anasa (Squash Bugs)?

Thanks to both.
Double post is now corrected. Squash bug looks right to me.
