picture-winged fly - Tritoxa incurva

picture-winged fly - Tritoxa incurva
Zebulon, Pike County, Georgia, USA
May 27, 2005
It looks like Delphinia picta but the wing pattern appears to be different.

T. incurva, I presume
I am being bold and separating the two groups of eastern Tritoxa based on coloration--this seems to be valid, based on regional checklists, which list two species for the east. The black ones would appear to be the Black Onion Fly, Tritoxa flexa, and the brownish ones would appear to be the other eastern species Tritoxa incurva. References are in the guide pages for the genus and these two species.

Tritoxa
This appears to be in genus Tritoxa(1).

Thanks for the help.
