Soldier Beetle - Podabrus rugosulus

Please help with ID.

Not an ID
but looks like one of the Poda*brus soldier beetles. The closest visual match I can find is P. rugo*sulus, but I'm not sure if it get that far west, and there may well be other look-alike beetles...


 
Podabrus rugosulus
Podabrus rugosulus looks good to me, and it is a widespread species--the orange "face" and the heavy texture on the pronotum (rugulose!):

Now, with the caveat that this is a difficult group, and previous species-level identifications made by the likes of me might be deemed incorrect at some future time. The genus Podabrus is, I believe, quite certain.
